With more of us moving over to electric cars it is of course a foregone conclusion that we would start to get requests for how they can be accommodated in a Garageflex garage makeover.
This is absolutely something that can be incoporated into your garage makeover and our fitters are now very used to working around ports and points. However, we wouldn’t actually install the points themselves. We found a great blog from Pod Point which covers all the essential information you might need to know when thinking about getting one in your garage. Click here to see more.
How can we help?
A few months ago we actually installed a garage in Surrey who already had a Pod Point in the garage. Our solution to incorporate into the design was to clad the wall with our FlexiPanel and work around it to give a neat finish. The end result is that it looks part of the garage with the majority of the electric cabling hidden. Note: the cabling you can see on the finished image was actually tidied up before the client saw it!
One of our client’s whose garage we fitted out a few years ago actually called us to say he was having a charging point added to his garage and needed us to pop over to just tidy the exsiting wall panel up. Our fitters were only too happy to visit and sort it out as you can see from the images below.
And here’s yet another example of a garage we have fitted out recently which already had a car charging point. It really does make everything look much smarter with cabling and wires all hidden away.
So if you have an electric car charging point in your garage we can help!
